Transcatheter Intra-arterial Limb Infusion of Cisplatin for Extremity Osteosarcoma

Event-free SurvivalOverall Survival2 more

Although there seems to be no benefit from improving the histologic response rate or long-term survival of intra-arterial infusion of cisplatin for localized osteosarcoma of extremities with IOR/OS-3, IOR/OS-5, and COSS 86 protocols, such a treatment strategy is still believed to potentially increase the tumoricidal effect with an increase in higher local concentrations of the infused agents combined with longer tissue exposure time. Besides, the relationship of chemotherapy-induced necrosis and surgical margins is still the main concern for localized osteosarcoma patients to achieve long-term survival. The investigators intend to analyze the gain and loss from transcatheter intra-arterial limb infusion of cisplatin for extremity osteosarcoma in the past six years.

A Study of TAK-018 in Preventing the Recurrence of Crohn's Disease After Surgery

Crohn Disease

The main aim is to see if TAK-018 reduces the recurrence of intestinal inflammation after abdominal resection surgery in adults with Crohn's disease. Participants will take either TAK-018 or placebo tablets by mouth, 2 times each day for up to 26 weeks after surgery. The placebo looks like TAK-018 but will not have any medicine in it. Participants will have 6 study visits while receiving treatment. Visits 1 and 6 will be conducted at the study clinic. The others can be in the clinic or at the participant's home. Follow-up will occur 4 weeks after final treatment.

Telephone-administered Relapse Prevention for Depression

Depressive Disorder

This study determines the effectiveness of telephone-delivered cognitive-behavioral continuation therapy (T-CT) in comparison to usual care in people with recurrent or chronic depression. The primary research question is whether participating in T-CT reduces depressive relapses. The continuation therapy comprises eight therapy sessions delivered over the telephone by a trained therapist over a period of approximately six months following acute-phase psychotherapy.

Recurrent Platinum Resistant Ovarian Cancer

This is an open label, single arm, multi-center study to assess the efficacy and safety of the combination of cediranib and olaparib tablets in platinum-resistant relapsed high grade serous, high grade endometroid or clear cell ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal carcinoma patients who have received at least 3 prior lines of chemotherapy and who do not carry deleterious or suspected deleterious germline breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA) mutations.

Avelumab for People With Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis

Recurrent Respiratory PapillomatosisJuvenile Laryngeal Papilloma4 more

Background: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is a rare disease caused by human papillomavirus. It can cause voice changes, airway compromise, pulmonary lesions, and cancers. Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) is a protein on cells. It may be able to stop or decrease the immune system s response to viruses such as human papillomavirus. The drug Avelumab interferes with the activity of PD-L1. Researchers want to see if Avelumab treats RRP and study its side effects. Objective: To see if Avelumab works in treating RRP and is safe. Eligibility: People ages 18 and older with aggressive RRP that has not responded to available treatments Design: Participants will be screened with: Medical history Previously collected tumor tissue Physical exam Blood, urine, and heart tests Endoscopy procedure: A small tube with a camera is used to look in the nose, throat, larynx, and upper windpipe. Before starting treatment, participants will have: Endoscopy under anesthesia. A sample of papilloma will be taken. Voice handicap questionnaire Computed tomography (CT) scans Apheresis: An intravenous (IV) is inserted into an arm vein. White blood cells are separated from the rest of the blood and stored for research. The rest of the blood is returned through the same IV or one in the other arm. Participants will get the study drug by IV every 2 weeks for up to 12 weeks. Participants will repeat the previous tests throughout the study. If they respond to treatment, participants will be evaluated every 6 weeks (3 times), then every 12 weeks (3 times), then every 26 weeks (2 times) until their disease progresses. Participants will be evaluated 30 days after their last infusion. They will then be contacted annually.

Atezolizumab and Bevacizumab in Treating Patients With Recurrent, Persistent, or Metastatic Cervical...

Cervical AdenocarcinomaCervical Adenosquamous Carcinoma6 more

This phase II trial studies how well atezolizumab and bevacizumab work in treating patients with cervical cancer that has come back, remains despite treatment, or has spread to other places in the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as atezolizumab and bevacizumab, may shrink tumor cell and interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

Anal Fistula Plug, a Retrospective Study

Healing RateRecurrence1 more

In this study, we retrospectively reviewed clinical data of patients who were treated with an anal fistula plug for trans-sphincteric anal fistulas, and evaluated the long-term therapeutic effect of an anal fistula plug and the risk factors impacting anal fistula healing. In addition, we assessed the effects of post-operative changes on anal function, as well as the risk factors affecting anal function.
