A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of ABT-493/ABT-530 in Japanese Adults With Genotype...
Chronic Hepatitis C VirusHepatitis C VirusThe purpose of this phase 3 study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ABT-493/ABT-530 in comparison to sofosbuvir plus ribavirin for 12 weeks in Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) Genotype 2 (GT2) infected participants.

Safety and Efficacy of Ledipasvir/Sofosbuvir (LDV/SOF) Fixed Dose Combination Tablet With Ribavirin...
Hepatitis C Virus InfectionThis study will evaluate the antiviral efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ledipasvir/sofosbuvir (LDV/SOF) fixed dose combination (FDC) plus ribavirin (RBV) in treatment-naive adults with chronic genotype 3 hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.

Feasibility, Tolerance and Efficacy of Interferon-free, Antiviral Treatment With Sofosbuvir + Ribavirin...
Hepatitis CHIV InfectionPrimary Objective: To evaluate the efficacy (sustained virological response 12 weeks after end-of-treatment [SVR12]) of 12-week course of an interferon-free regimen combining sofosbuvir and weight-dosed ribavirin (genotype 2), or sofosbuvir and ledipasvir (genotype 1 or 4) in treatment-naïve patients infected with HCV genotype 1, 2 or 4 in West and Central Africa Secondary Objectives: To estimate the study treatment SVR24 rate To evaluate the clinical and biological tolerance of study treatment To describe HCV kinetics under HCV treatment, and identify associated factors To describe the evolution of HIV disease under HCV treatment in HVC-HIV co-infected patients To describe the changes of liver fibrosis based on non-invasive tests between treatment initiation, week 24, and week 36 after treatment, and estimate its association with SVR12 or SVR24 To identify factors associated with SVR12 and SVR24 (including HIV status) To evaluate the performance of a nanodevice for rapid diagnosis of HCV viral load and genotypying and for assessing response to treatment (SVR12 and SVR24) Facilitate the detection and treatment of those infected with HCV by supporting national initiatives for access to strategies without interferon To set up a HCV clinical research network across French and English-speaking African countries, able to run large-scale comparative randomized clinical trials in a near future.

Ph IIA Study (SOC +/- NS5B)
Hepatitis C VirusAt least 1 dose of BMS-791325 can be identified which is safe, well tolerated, and efficacious when combined with peg-interferon alfa-2a (pegIFNα-2a)/ribavirin (RBV) for the treatment of treatment-naïve, chronically-infected hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1 subjects

A Study of Ritonavir-Boosted Danoprevir (RO5190591) in Combination With Pegasys and Ribavirin in...
Hepatitis CChronicThis study will evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of danoprevir (RO5190591) plus ritonavir as compared to danoprevir alone or placebo plus ritonavir in patients with chronic hepatitis C genotype 1 receiving Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a) and ribavirin. Patients in cohorts will be randomized to receive either oral doses of danoprevir, or danoprevir plus ritonavir, or placebo plus ritonavir. All patients will receive Pegasys (180mcg sc once weekly) plus ribavirin (1000-1200mg/day po), with the option to continue this treatment after completion of study drug treatment. Anticipated time on study treatment is up to 12 weeks.

Safety and Efficacy of Telaprevir in Combination With Peginterferon Alfa-2a and Ribavirin in Subjects...
Hepatitis CHIV InfectionsThe purpose of this study is to determine whether the combination of telaprevir, peginterferon alfa-2a, and ribavirin is safe and effective in treating hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection in subjects who are infected with both HCV and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Short Term Treatment With BI 201335, Peginterferon-alpha 2a and Ribavirin in Hepatitis c Virus Genotype-1...
Hepatitis CTo compare the antiviral efficacy and safety of a 12-week with a 24-week treatment of BI 201335 at a dose of 120 mg once daily, with a 24-week background of pegylated interferon-alpha 2a (PegIFN) plus ribavirin (RBV), in treatment-naïve patients infected with hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1

Ribavirin Pre-treatment Followed by Combined Standard Therapy in Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) Recipients...
Hepatitis CThe results of antiviral therapy in patients with recurrent hepatitis C after liver transplantation are lower than standard. Ribavirin has immune-modulating effects and seems to be crucial to optimize viral treatment. The aim of this multicenter controlled study is to examine the effect of Ribavirin pre-treatment preceding the combination therapy with peginterferon plus ribavirin on the sustained virological response.

Baclofen to Reduce Alcohol Use in Veterans With HCV
Hepatitis CAlcohol Use DisordersHepatitis C (HCV) is the most common blood born virus in the United States, affecting 1.8% of the general population and more than 5% of Veterans using VA facilities. As Veterans with HCV have high rates of co-morbid alcohol use disorders that accelerate greatly the liver damage caused by HCV, a safe and effective treatment for alcohol use disorders is needed. Baclofen is a novel treatment for alcohol use disorders that has minimal effect on the liver and may represent a safe and efficacious treatment option for Veterans with HCV and co-morbid alcohol use disorders.

Sustained Virological Response (SVR) to Antiviral Treatment of Liver Transplant Recipients With...
Hepatitis CLiver TransplantationThis study will assess the rates of Sustained Virological Response following anti-viral therapy with Peg-Interferon plus Ribavirin in patients that have been liver transplanted with recurrent Hepatitis C and treated with Neoral or tacrolimus.
