OnabotulinumtoxinA (Botox®) bladder injections are a highly effective treatment for overactive bladder and urgency urinary incontinence. The procedure is typically performed in the office setting with one of two medications to control comfort. However, the effectiveness of these medications has never been compared. The goal of this study is to determine which medication is better at providing comfort during bladder Botox® injections.

The purpose of this study is to prospectively assess whether Desmopressin, given for a period of month to patients after radical cystectomy with orthotopic bladder reconstruction, improves and lowers the rate of nocturnal enuresis.

This research is primarily to compare effectiveness of electroacupuncture and pelvic floor muscle training for SUI, and evaluate optimal efficiency of electroacupuncture for stress urinary incontinence (SUI). The early clinical research is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with a small sample,consisting of two arms of electroacupuncture group and sham electroacupuncture group to value difference of extent of SUI in 1h pad test after 4 weeks. The result indicates that electroacupuncture is an optimal method for SUI. As a further study, this research is a large sample multicenter trial with two parallel arms of electroacupuncture group and pelvic floor muscle training group. The primary purpose is to value effectiveness of electroacupuncture for SUI in aspect of frequency of leakage and amount of leakage, comparing with pelvic floor muscle training. And the secondary purpose is to evaluate safety of electroacupuncture therapy, and compare acceptance of electroacupuncture treatment and pelvic floor muscle training.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether TVT-Secur (TVT-S) (Hammock method) and TVT-Obturator (TVT-O) suburethral sling procedures have equivalent patient satisfaction and clinical efficacy in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence alone or the stress component in mixed urinary incontinence.

The rationale for the conduct of this study is that the Intone device (along with pelvic physiotherapy) can be used to help females suffering from urinary stress incontinence by using electrical stimulation and biofeedback during pelvic floor muscle training. This investigation is important because it can aid in the greater acceptance and development of non-surgical treatments for Stress Urinary Incontinence if these areas are looked into. The study results will address if the Intone device is beneficial and promotes long-term improvement in women that suffer from urinary incontinence.
