The overall objective of this project is to study the influence of modern anti-inflammatory treatments in established inflammatory rheumatic diseases (IRD) on antibody response elicited by pneumococcal vaccination using 13-valent conjugate vaccine in combined schedules with 23-valent polysaccharide vaccine. In addition, the aim is to study the clinical aspects of vaccination regarding: tolerability in immunosuppressed patients with IRD, impact on existing rheumatic disease, possible association with onset of new autoimmune diseases, long-term immunity following pneumococcal vaccination and efficacy in preventing invasive pneumococcal disease. Results from this study are expected to bridge the existing knowledge gap and contribute to body of evidence needed for recommendations and implementation of vaccination program in IRD patients.

The aim of this trial is the caracterisation of a predicting algorithm of the answering response for patients with etanercept treatment in spondyloarthritis disease. This algorithm will help to target patients patients who have a risk / benefit important for etanercept treatment.

The main objective of this trial is to search for biomarkers associated with the success of adalimumab treatment in order to generate an algorithm to predict the response to this treatment at 6 months in spondyloarthritis and to define its metrological properties on this cohort. The algorithm will allow to better target patients who will have an important benefit/risk ratio for adalimumab treatment.

This study will assess the safety and efficacy of ixekizumab (LY2439821) compared to placebo in participants with active AS.

There is a great individual variability of pharmacokinetic of infliximab in patients treated for ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Moreover, some patients have a treatment with methotrexate (MTX), others have not. Thus, the aim of this study is to assess the effect of MTX on the pharmacokinetic properties of infliximab in 30 patients treated for AS, 15 with MTX, 15 without.

Adalimumab is an antibody treatment that targets and neutralizes a molecule produced in the body that is associated with inflammation, tumor necrosis factor (TNF). This molecule is an important factor in causing the inflammation seen in people with a form of inflammatory spinal arthritis called spondylitis as well as inflammation in the bowel called Crohn's disease. Spondylitis and Crohn's disease tend to go together and this study will assess to what degree this treatment is effective for those patients that have both disorders at the same time.

The Chinese Spondyloarthritis Inception cohort (CESPIC) was started 2000 as a prospective, longitudinal, multicentre, nationwide study in China on patients with early SpA including ankylosing spondylitis (AS, also known as radiographic axial spondyloarthritis) and non-radiographic axial SpA. The objectives of CESPIC are to learn about the course of SpA during the very early stage of the disease, to appropriately assess the outcome including radiographic progression of patients after several years of follow-up, to identify outcome predictors, to assess quality of life, function, and costs (direct and indirect costs). CESPIC has been recently expanded to recruit patients with other forms of SpA / conditions associated with SpA: reactive arthritis, acute anterior uveitis, Crohn's disease as well as with psoriasis / axial psoriatic arthritis.

To evaluate the frequency of LILRA3 in Ankylosing spondylitis and Axial psoriatic arthritis patients. To investigate the association of LILRA3 with Ankylosing spondylitis and Axial psoriatic arthritis disease activity and severity.

The study objective is aimed to describe all country, site, investigator and patient variables that lead to treatment persistence for at least 12 months among patients with rheumatologic and intestinal chronic inflammatory diseases who were switched to FK adalimumab, in order to develop a model to predict persistence at 12 months.

Multicenter Human Derivatives Prospective Cohort Study: Clinical information will be collected from patients with ankylosing spondylitis and their families who have provided research consent. And clinical samples including blood, saliva, feces, and mucosal biopsy tissue (from patients scheduled for sigmoid colonoscopy or routine colonoscopy examinations) will be collected. Multi-omics data production and laboratory analysis will be conducted using the collected samples, followed by integrated bioinformatic analysis using the produced data."
