A Phase 1/2 Trial of Trametinib and Erlotinib in Patients With EGFR-Mutant Lung Adenocarcinomas...
Lung AdenocarcinomaLung Cancer4 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine the safety, tolerability and overall response rate of trametinib when given in combination with erlotinib in patients with Stage IV or recurrent lung adenocarcinoma that cannot be treated with curative intent.

Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy in Recurrent T1-2 Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
Nasopharyngeal Cancer RecurrentThe hypothesis of the study is to address the efficacy and toxicity profile of aforementioned four modalities for rT1-2 NPC. Characters of the patients: list item one: 168 patients, median age 48 years (range 16-75 years) proven rT1-2 NPC were diagnosed list item two: Treated with four different irradiation modalities(3D-CRT,IMRT, BT , BT Combined 3D-CRT or IMRT). list item three: Median time to recurrence was 30 months (range 1-180months). The median follow-up time was 28 months (range, 4-135 months).

Phase 1/2 Study of Carfilzomib for the Prevention of Relapse and GVHD in Allo-HCT for Hematologic...
Hematologic MalignanciesRelapse1 moreThe investigators hypothesize that adding carfilzomib to standard conditioning regimen for allo-HCT for advanced or high-risk hematologic malignancies will decrease post-transplant relapse and treatment-related mortality by decreasing severe GVHD, leading to overall improvement in transplant outcomes.

p53MVA Vaccine and Gemcitabine Hydrochloride in Treating Patients With Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial...
Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial CancerRecurrent Fallopian Tube Carcinoma1 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and recommended dose of the combination of p53MVA vaccine (modified vaccinia virus ankara vaccine expressing tumor protein p53 [p53]) and gemcitabine hydrochloride in treating patients with ovarian epithelial cancer that has come back. Vaccines made from inserting a laboratory-treated gene into a person's tumor cells may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells that express p53. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving modified vaccinia virus ankara vaccine expressing p53 together with gemcitabine hydrochloride may work better in treating patients with ovarian epithelial cancer.

Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy in Treating Younger Patients With Lung Metastases
Adult RhabdomyosarcomaLung Metastases13 moreThis pilot clinical trial studies intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in treating younger patients with lung metastases. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue.

Romidepsin, Ifosfamide, Carboplatin, and Etoposide in Treating Participants With Relapsed or Refractory...
Mycosis FungoidesRecurrent Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma11 moreThis phase I trial studies the best dose and side effects of romidepsin when given in combination with ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide in treating participants with peripheral T-cell lymphoma that has come back or does not respond to treatment. Romidepsin may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving romidepsin, ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide may work better in treating participants with peripheral T-cell lymphoma.

Everolimus and Anakinra or Denosumab in Treating Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Advanced...
Advanced Malignant NeoplasmMetastatic Malignant Neoplasm2 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of everolimus when given together with anakinra or denosumab in treating participants with cancers that have spread to other places in the body and have come back or aren't responding to treatment. Everolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Anakinra is designated to block a protein that is involved in tumor development, new blood vessels growing, and the spread of cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as denosumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving everolimus and anakinra or denosumab may work better in treating participants with advanced cancers.

Fractionated Radiosurgery for Painful Spinal Metastases
Neoplasm MetastasisNeoplastic Processes5 moreIt is the study hypothesis that hypo-fractionated image-guided radiosurgery significantly improves pain relief compared to historic data of conventionally fractionated radiotherapy. Primary endpoint is pain response 3 months after radiosurgery, which is defined as pain reduction of ≥2 points at the treated vertebral site on the 0 to 10 Visual Analogue Scale. 60 patients will be included into this II trial.

Decitabine, Vaccine Therapy, and Pegylated Liposomal Doxorubicin Hydrochloride in Treating Patients...
Recurrent Fallopian Tube CancerRecurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer1 moreThis phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of decitabine when given together with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride and vaccine therapy in treating patients with recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or peritoneal cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as decitabine and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Vaccines made from a peptide or antigen may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Giving combination chemotherapy together with vaccine therapy may kill more tumor cells

Dovitinib in Neuroendocrine Tumors
Advanced Metastatic ParagangliomaAdvanced Metastatic Pheochromocytoma4 moreThis study is being conducted to evaluate whether the investigational drug Dovitinib, can shrink or slow the growth of cancer in patients with certain types of neuroendocrine tumors. This study will also further evaluate the safety of this drug.
