Anastrazole Plus GnRH-agonist in the Treatment of Endometriosis Recurrence

Endometriosis

The aromatase inhibitor (anastrazole) plus long acting GnRH agonist leuprolide acetate will be tested for the treatment of women with endometriosis recurrence compared with classical GnRH analog treatment. Pain symptom disappearance and disease free time during follow-up will be the outcomes for establishing which medical treatment is the best in endometriosis recurrence treatment.

Reduced-Intensity Conditioning Before Donor Stem Cell Transplant in Treating Patients With High-Risk...

Acute Myeloid Leukemia With FLT3/ITD MutationAcute Myeloid Leukemia With Gene Mutations21 more

This phase II trial studies reduced-intensity conditioning before donor stem cell transplant in treating patients with high-risk hematologic malignancies. Giving low-doses of chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before a donor stem cell transplant helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune cells and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Giving an infusion of the donor's T cells (donor lymphocyte infusion) before the transplant may help increase this effect.

Dovitinib in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Progressive Glioblastoma

Adult Giant Cell GlioblastomaAdult Glioblastoma2 more

This phase II trial studies how well dovitinib works in treating patients with recurrent or progressive glioblastoma. Dovitinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth

Bevacizumab With or Without Radiation Therapy in Treating Patients With Recurrent Glioblastoma

Adult Giant Cell GlioblastomaAdult Glioblastoma2 more

This randomized phase II trial studies how well bevacizumab with or without radiation therapy works in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, can block tumor growth in different ways. Some block the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Others find tumor cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Specialized radiation therapy that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue. It is not yet know whether bevacizumab is more effective with or without radiation therapy in treating patients with recurrent glioblastoma

GRASPA (Erythrocytes Encapsulating L-asparaginase) in Patients With Relapse of Acute Lymphoblastic...

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemiain Relapse

Asparaginase is a cornerstone in the treatment of ALL, but its utility is limited by toxicities including hypersensitivity. Clinical allergy is associated with inactivation of asparaginase by antibodies (A-Abs), which can also neutralize asparaginase without any clinical signs of hypersensitivity (silent inactivation). GRASPA improves pharmacokinetics, tolerability and maintain circulating asparaginase activity due to the protective barrier of the erythrocyte membrane. This study is run to confirm the benefit/risk profile of GRASPA at 150 IU/kg in combination with the COOPRALL regimen in adults and children patients with relapsed ALL, with or without known hypersensitivity to L-asparaginase.

Trebananib And Temsirolimus in Treating Patients With Solid Tumors That Are Metastatic or Cannot...

Adult Solid NeoplasmLung Carcinoid Tumor9 more

This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of trebananib and temsirolimus when given together in treating patients with solid tumors that are metastatic or cannot be removed by surgery. Trebananib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Temsirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving trebananib with temsirolimus may be an effective treatment for solid tumors.

ERCP in Idiopathic Recurrent Acute Pancreatitis

Recurrent Acute Pancreatitis

The therapeutic impact of ERCP with sphincterotomy in the management of patients with idiopathic recurrent acute pancreatitis (RAP) needs further study. The investigators conducted a single center, feasibility, randomized trial to determine 1) the role of pancreatic manometry in predicting future episodes of RAP and 2) differences in the efficacy of no, biliary (BES) or pancreatobiliary (dual) endoscopic sphincterotomy (DES).
