Bortezomib in Treating Patients With Recurrent Glioma

Adult Anaplastic AstrocytomaAdult Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma4 more

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of bortezomib in treating patients who have recurrent glioma. Bortezomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking the enzymes necessary for tumor cell growth

Arsenic Trioxide in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Lymphoma or Leukemia

Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma9 more

Phase II trial to study the effectiveness of arsenic trioxide in treating patients who have relapsed or refractory lymphoma or leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy use different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die

Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma27 more

Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of geldanamycin analogue in treating patients who have advanced solid tumors or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop tumor cells from dividing so they stop growing or die.

Extranodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-associated Lymphoid TissueNodal Marginal Zone B-cell Lymphoma7 more

Phase I/II trial to study the effectiveness of combining radiolabeled monoclonal antibody therapy and rituximab with and without filgrastim and interleukin-11 in treating patients who have relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies can locate cancer cells and deliver cancer-killing substances to them without harming normal cells. Biological therapies such as filgrastim and interleukin-11 use different ways to stimulate the immune system and stop cancer cells from growing.

2nd Line Treatment With Pemetrexed and Sorafenib for Recurrent or Metastatic Triple Negative Breast...

Breast CancerMetastatic Breast Cancer1 more

This phase 2 clinical trial will evaluate the efficacy of the combination of pemetrexed and sorafenib in patients with recurrent or metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). Candidate pharmacodynamic and predictive biomarkers will also be evaluated.

Rituximab, Lenalidomide, and Nivolumab in Treating Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Non-Germinal...

Recurrent Central Nervous System LymphomaRecurrent Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma2 more

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of lenalidomide when given in combination with rituximab and nivolumab and how well they work in treating participants with non-germinal center type diffuse large B cell lymphoma or primary central nervous system lymphoma that has come back or isn't responding to treatment. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab and nivolumab, may interfere with ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as lenalidomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving rituximab, lenalidomide, and nivolumab may work better in treating participants with diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

Cisplatin With or Without WEE1 Inhibitor MK-1775 in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Metastatic...

Recurrent Hypopharyngeal Squamous Cell CarcinomaRecurrent Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma27 more

This randomized phase II trial studies how well cisplatin with or without WEE1 inhibitor MK-1775 works in treating patients with head and neck cancer that has come back or has spread to other parts of the body. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cisplatin, may prevent tumor cells from multiplying by damaging their deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), which in turn stops the tumor from growing. WEE1 inhibitor MK-1775 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether cisplatin is more effective with or without WEE1 inhibitor MK-1775 in treating patients with head and neck cancer.

Palbociclib Isethionate in Treating Younger Patients With Recurrent, Progressive, or Refractory...

Childhood Choroid Plexus TumorChildhood Ependymoblastoma17 more

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of palbociclib isethionate in treating younger patients with central nervous system tumors that have grown, come back, or not responded to treatment. Palbociclib isethionate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Post-approval Study of NovoTTF-100A in Recurrent GBM Patients

Recurrent Glioblastoma Multiforme

This is a non-randomized, concurrent control study, designed to confirm that the efficacy of the NovoTTF-100A System in patients with recurrent GBM treated in a real life settings following approval is comparable to that of BSC chemotherapy patients. The device is a portable, battery operated device that was approved for the treatment of adult patients (22 years of age or older) with histologically-confirmed glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), following histologically- or radiologically-confirmed recurrence in the supra-tentorial region of the brain after receiving chemotherapy. The device is intended to be used as a monotherapy, and is intended as an alternative to standard medical therapy for GBM after surgical and radiation options have been exhausted.
