Genetic and Molecular Characteristics of Mexican Adults With Acute Myeloid Leukemia: a Prospective...
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaNewly diagnosed adults patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia will be assessed as traditionally by the treating institution using classic clinical, demographic and cytogenetic variables. Complementary molecular tests will be performed in the patients included in the study using PCR to detect classic CBF (Core Binding Factor) rearrangements: CBFB-MYH11 [inv(16)(p13;q22), isoforms A, E and D; AML-ETO (RUNX1-RUNX1T1) (t8;21)(q22;q22). NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) to detect mutations in: FLT3-ITD and TKD, NPM1, CEBPA, RUNX1, TP53, ASXL1, IDH1, IDH2 and KIT

Fitness and Lung Function Among Survivors of Heart Transplant, Leukemia and Infant BPD Through Exercise...
Chronic Lung DiseaseChronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease2 moreThis study aims to more accurately assess cardiac function, ventilation and exercise capacity in a non-invasive fashion, and to better characterize exercise intolerance in the setting of three populations of individuals with chronic diseases of childhood (acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic lung disease (CLD) of prematurity, and post-heart transplant (HT))

Outcomes of Unfit Patients With CLL Included in the GIMEMA LLC1114 Trial Who Discontinued Ibrutinib...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThe goal of this observational study is to assess in the cohort of CLL patients enrolled in the front-line GIMEMA LLC1114 study who discontinued ibrutinib the time to subsequent treatment. The main question it aims to answer is: • The 12 and 24-month TTNT measured from the time of ibrutinib discontinuation due to reasons other than CLL progression, Richter syndrome, malignancy or death, or lost to the follow-up. Participants will be observed for the duration of the study.

Clinical Characters and Outcome of Acute Myeloid Leukemia Patients on Correlation to CD200 and CD56...
Acute Myeloid Leukemiaestimation of the clinical characters and out come of adult acute myeloid leukemia patients • correlation of the estimated clinical characters and outcome to the expression of CD200

Studying Malnutrition And Sarcopenia In Older Adults With Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaLeukemia1 moreThis study will explore how malnutrition (poor nutrition/diet) and sarcopenia (a condition that causes a loss of muscle and bone mass) affects study participants over the age of 60 with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who will receive induction chemotherapy (chemotherapy given as the first treatment to help cancer go into remission) and/or cancer drugs as part of standard care for AML. By studying how these nutritional and skeletal factors, doctors leading this study hope to learn how malnutrition and sarcopenia may be able to predict certain outcomes --such as how long study participants with poor nutrition and muscle loss can live after chemotherapy- for older (age 60+) individuals with AML.

Comparison Between Cyclophosphamide and Combination of Methotrexate + Calcineurin Inhibitor for...
Acute Myelogenous LeukemiaAcute Lymphoid Leukemia4 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether cyclophosphamide post bone marrow transplant increases the rate of patients alive, in remission and without immunosuppression, one year after transplant, when compared with the combination of methotrexate and calcineurin inhibitor

RAD001 in Patients With Chronic Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia w/ Molecular Disease.
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaPatients participating in this study will have a diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. This study will evaluate whether the addition of an investigational drug called RAD001 given together with Imatinib will better target leukemia stem cells, causing them to die. Stem cells are a small population of cells, existing primarily within the bone marrow, and are believed to be responsible for the ongoing risk of disease relapse.

Growth Factor Signature (GFS) Pilot Study (MK0000-098)(COMPLETED)
Blast Phase Philadelphia Chromosomes Positive (Ph+) Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)Philadelphia Chromosome Positive (Ph+) Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL)This study will evaluate a gene expression signature (Growth Factor Signature [GFS]) as a biomarker for response/resistance to BRC-ABL oncogene inhibitors.

A Study to Evaluate PT-523 in Patients With Refractory Leukemia
LeukemiaThis Phase I/II, multi-centered, non-randomized, trial is designed to determine a safe dose of PT-523 for subjects, and to make preliminary evaluations on the activity of PT-523 as therapy in subjects with refractory leukemia.

Frequency and Risk Factors of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Myeloid Leukemiato assess the frequency of acute myeloid leukemia at clinical Haematology unit of Assiute university hospital to study correlations of known risk factors and if there are new risk factors participate in increasing frequency of acute myeloid leukemia
