Phase I Combination of Midostaurin, Bortezomib, and Chemo in Relapsed/Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia...
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaAcute Myeloid Leukemia With Multilineage Dysplasia Following9 moreRATIONALE: Bortezomib and midostaurin may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as mitoxantrone hydrochloride, etoposide, and cytarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving bortezomib and midostaurin together with combination chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells. PURPOSE: This phase I trial is studying the side effects and best dose of bortezomib when given together with midostaurin with or without combination chemotherapy in treating patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.

Prophylactic White Cell Transfusions Versus Therapeutic White Cell Transfusions in Patients With...
LeukemiaPatients with leukemia often have low white blood cell counts after chemotherapy, which puts them at greater risk for infection. The standard of care for preventing infections is to give these patients antibiotic, antifungal, and antiviral drugs during the time that white blood cell counts are low. However, many patients still develop infections during chemotherapy. Radiated white blood cell transfusions are a standard treatment once a patient develops a severe infection. The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if giving unirradiated white blood cell transfusions early in chemotherapy might delay or prevent infections in patients with leukemia. Researchers also want to learn more about the type and severity of any infections that do occur.

Cyclophosphamide, Fludarabine, Alemtuzumab, and Rituximab (CFAR) for Relapsed or Refractory Chronic...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if the combination of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, alemtuzumab, and rituximab is effective in treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia in patients who have already been treated with chemotherapy. Primary Objectives: Evaluate the therapeutic efficacy, including the complete remission (CR), nodular partial remission (NPR), and partial remission (PR) rates (overall response) of combined cyclophosphamide, fludarabine, alemtuzumab, and rituximab (CFAR) in previously treated patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Second Objectives: Assess the toxicity profile of CFAR in previously treated patients with CLL. Monitor for infection and determine incidence and etiology of infection including cytomegalovirus in patients treated with CFAR. Evaluate molecular remission by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the clonal immunoglobulin heavy chain variable gene in responding patients treated with CFAR. Assess immune parameters, including pretreatment, during treatment, and post-treatment blood T-cell counts and subset distribution and serum immunoglobulin levels in patients treated with CFAR.

Study to Investigate Idelalisib in Combination With Chemotherapeutic Agents, Immunomodulatory Agents...
Indolent Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaChronic Lymphocytic Leukemia1 moreThe primary objective of the study is to evaluate the safety of idelalisib in combination with an anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (mAb), a chemotherapeutic agent, a mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor, a protease inhibitor, an antiangiogenic agent, and/or an immunomodulatory agent in participants with relapsed or refractory indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Entinostat and Clofarabine in Treating Patients With Newly Diagnosed, Relapsed, or Refractory Poor-Risk...
Acute Leukemias of Ambiguous LineagePhiladelphia Chromosome Negative Adult Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia2 moreThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of entinostat when given together with clofarabine in treating patients with newly diagnosed, relapsed, or refractory poor-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia or bilineage/biphenotypic leukemia. Entinostat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as clofarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving entinostat with clofarabine may kill more cancer cells.

A Study of Nilotinib in Adult Patients With Imatinib Resistant or - Intolerant Chronic Myeloid Leukemia...
Chronic Myeloid LeukemiaA multicenter, open label study of Nilotinib in CML patients PH + with imatininb resistant in blast crisis, accelerated phase or chronic phase. The main purpose is evaluate the safety and efficacy of Nilotinib.

Bendamustine and Idarubicin in Treating Older Patients With Previously Untreated AML or MDS
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With 11q23 (MLL) AbnormalitiesAdult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With Del(5q)7 moreThis phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of bendamustine hydrochloride when given together with idarubicin in treating older patients with previously untreated acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as bendamustine hydrochloride or idarubicin, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more cancer cells

Phase I and II Study of Auranofin in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma2 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of auranofin to treat patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), or prolymphocytic lymphoma (PLL).

Ofatumumab/Methylprednisolone and Ofatumumab/Lenalidomide for Relapsed/Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic...
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaSmall Lymphocytic LymphomaThe main purpose of this study is to see if the combination of ofatumumab with high dose methylprednisolone followed by additional treatment with ofatumumab and lenalidomide can help people with relapsed or refractory CLL/SLL get rid of their CLL/SLL for a long period of time. Researchers also want to find out if the combination of ofatumumab with methylprednisolone followed by additional treatment with ofatumumab and lenalidomide is safe and tolerable.
