Clofarabine, Idarubicin, Cytarabine, Vincristine Sulfate, and Dexamethasone in Treating Patients...
Acute Bilineal LeukemiaAcute Biphenotypic Leukemia10 moreThis phase II trial studies how well clofarabine, idarubicin, cytarabine, vincristine sulfate, and dexamethasone work in treating patients with mixed phenotype acute leukemia that is newly diagnosed or has returned after a period of improvement (relapsed). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as clofarabine, idarubicin, cytarabine, vincristine sulfate, and dexamethasone, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading.

Safety Study of Chimeric Antigen Receptor Modified T-cells Targeting NKG2D-Ligands
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaMyelodysplastic Syndrome1 moreThis Phase I clinical trial is evaluating chimeric-antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells (CM-CS1 T cells) which recognize NKG2D-ligands on the surface of cancer cells. This study evaluates the safety and feasibility of administering a single intravenous dose of CM-CS1 CAR T-cells to patients with AML, MDS-RAEB and Multiple Myeloma.

Phase I Study of Adoptive Immunotherapy With Enriched and Expanded Autologous Natural Killer (NK)...
Acute Lymphoblastic LeukemiaComplete Hematologic Remission (CHR)1 moreThe present study aims at studying how safe and tolerable a new therapy for patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is. This new therapy consists of an immunotherapy, that is an approach focusing on the immune system, and it targets ALL patients in complete remission but who may still have the disease at a cellular level (this is called 'minimal residual disease'). For any further information, please, discuss with your treating physician.

Leukemia SPORE Phase II DAC Study for R/R and Elderly Acute AML and MDS
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaMyelodysplastic Syndrome1 moreThe purpose of this study is to find a new way to treat Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) and Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML). All the drugs are used to treat AML and MDS but are not usually combined together. The investigators are looking at both the safety and Efficacy of each combination.

Clofarabine and Low-Dose Total-Body Irradiation in Treating Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia...
Acute Myeloid LeukemiaThis phase II trial studies the side effects and how well clofarabine works when given together with low-dose total-body irradiation (TBI) in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) undergoing donor peripheral blood stem cell transplant (PBSCT). Giving chemotherapy and TBI before a donor PBSCT helps stop the growth of cancer cells. It may also stop the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. When the healthy stem cells from a donor are infused into the patient they may help the patient's bone marrow make stem cells, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

Sorafenib Tosylate and Chemotherapy in Treating Older Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute Myeloid Leukemia With FLT3/ITD MutationAcute Myeloid Leukemia With Inv(16)(p13.1q22) or t(16;16)(p13.1;q22); CBFB-MYH114 moreThis phase II trial studies how well sorafenib tosylate and chemotherapy work in treating older patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Sorafenib tosylate may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as daunorubicin hydrochloride and cytarabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving sorafenib tosylate and combination chemotherapy may be an effective treatment for AML.

AKT Inhibitor MK-2206 in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Adult Acute Megakaryoblastic Leukemia (M7)Adult Acute Minimally Differentiated Myeloid Leukemia (M0)13 moreThis phase II trial is studying how well AKT inhibitor MK-2206 works in treating patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AKT inhibitor MK-2206 may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

Lenalidomide After Donor Bone Marrow Transplant in Treating Patients With High-Risk Hematologic...
Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia in RemissionAdult Acute Myeloid Leukemia With Inv(16)(p13.1q22); CBFB-MYH1140 moreThis phase I clinical trial is studying the side effects and the best dose of lenalidomide after donor bone marrow transplant in treating patients with high-risk hematologic cancer. Biological therapies, such as lenalidomide, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing.

Sorafenib and 5-Azacitidine in Acute Leukemia + Myelodysplastic Syndrome
LeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if 5-azacitidine and sorafenib can control the disease in patients with AML or MDS. The safety of this drug combination will also be studied.

Study to Assess Safety, Tolerability and Preliminary Efficacy of BKM120, PI3K Kinase Inhibitor,...
LeukemiaThe goal of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of BKM120 that can be given to patients with relapsed or refractory leukemia. The safety of BKM120 will also be studied.
