Ischemic Stricture of Intestine

The primary objective of this pilot study is the assessment of the safety of the ISS500 System in patients who have experienced an acute ischemic stroke within the anterior circulation. The secondary objectives of this study are to examine the effectiveness of the ISS500 System implantation in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke.

RESCUE-Japan LIMIT(Recovery by Endovascular Salvage for Cerebral Ultra-acute Embolism Japan Large IscheMIc core Trial) is a prospective, open label, blinded endpoint (PROBE), Japanese, two-arm, randomized, controlled, post-market study to compare the effectiveness of endovascular treatment as compared to best medical treatment alone in the acute ischemic stroke patients with an low ASPECTS (CT-ASPECTS 3-5 or DWI-ASPECTS 3-5). The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of endovascular treatment for acute large vessel occlusion with large ischemic core (CT-ASPECT score 3-5 or DWI-ASPECT score 3-5).

To examine the dynamics of 24 - hours ECG monitoring parameters (Holter monitoring) in patients with ischaemic heart disease (IHD) before and after treatment of voiding dysfunctions resulted from benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with the indications for either conservative or operative treatment. A total of eighty-three 57-to-81-year-old (mean age 70.4±5.75 years) patients with BPH and accompanying IHD were examined at the Institute of Urology and Human Reproductive Health and Clinic of Cardiology of the Sechenov University.

Patients presenting to the emergency department with acute ischemic stroke, who are eligible for standard intravenous thrombolysis within 4.5 hours of stroke onset will be assessed for major vessel occlusion to determine their eligibility for randomization into the trial. If the patient gives informed consent they will be randomised 50:50 using central computerised allocation to either 0.4mg/kg or 0.25mg/kg intravenous tenecteplase before all participants undergo endovascular thrombectomy. The trial is prospective, randomised, open-label, blinded endpoint (PROBE) design.

H-REPLACE trial is a prospective, randomized, open-label, active-controlled, multicenter study in participants with ACS (STEMI or NSTEMI, unstable angina). All eligible participants receiving background treatment of aspirin plus clopidogrel or ticagrelor will be randomly assigned to either oral rivaroxaban 2.5 mg twice daily or rivaroxaban 5 mg twice daily or subcutaneous (SC) enoxaparin 1mg/kg twice daily until hospital discharge or 12 hours before revascularization therapy for a maximum of 8 days.

Ischemic stroke is accompanied by a three to four hundred percent increase in the brain's extracellular fluid (ECF) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) concentration of glutamate, which diffuses and damages surrounding neurons. In this study we tested our hypothesis that blood glutamate levels can be reduced by hemofiltration, resulting in increased extracellular clearance of glutamate and attenuated neurodegeneration, and that decreased blood glutamate levels can provide significant neuroprotection against stroke-associated neurodegeneration, dysfunction and death. Our primary outcome of interest was to assess safety of hemofiltration in acute ischemic stroke patients.
